Abstract
Chatbots are software applications that use artificial intelligence to understand user queries and provide answers. They can be used for customer service, technical support, and other applications where human-like communication is required through written or spoken natural language. They are frequently used by companies to automate and offer their services through integration into websites, mobile applications, and other communication channels. For this reason, many tools for developing chatbots have appeared with a variety of features and different functionalities, support language, integration channels, pricing models, and NLP services. Moreover, developers and practitioners who want to build chatbots can find selecting the most suitable tool difficult. Therefore, this study presents a comparative and analysis study of the twenty most widely used tools for implementing Chatbots. Thus, this study also aims to assist developers and practitioners by proposing a recommender that can assist them in selecting the suitable tool for developing chatbots according to the needs entered by answering the questions, which are generally related to the relevant features of these tools which are resulting from the analysis of these tools. We demonstrate, through an example of a conversational scenario, the choice of tool for the chatbot to manage a company in the tourism sector.
