Abstract
Mobile machines perform many functions in the development and maintenance of railway infrastructure.Among them, particular emphasis is on hydraulic excavators. The paper defines a mathematical model of a hydraulic excavator for determining the static and dynamic loads of the railway during the operation of an excavator resting on the railway track.Based on the mathematical model, an excavator simulation program was developed. As an example, using the developed program, the loads of the railway tracks were determined for the operation of an excavator of 17000 kg in mass, equipped with a manipulator with a backhoe bucket of 0.6 m 3 in volume.
