Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study was produced the trigonometric learning design using the Indonesian Version of Realistic Mathematics Education ( PMRI ) approach. This study uses a design research method that includes the preparation phase, experimental design, and retrospective analysis. The context used was the context of the domino game. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIA  as a pilot experiment class with 23 people and XI MIA 2 as a teaching experiment class with 23 students at SMA Advent Klabat Manado. The results showed that the RMEI with the context of a domino game approach could improve the ability to reason and the ability to understand students towards trigonometry material.
