Abstract

This chapter reports on the viscoelastic properties of completely biodegradable polymer-based composites. Numerous research works are reported here to discuss the various mechanisms occurring inside the biodegradable polymer-based composites domain when subjected to creep phenomenon. Various trends in mechanical properties and configuration modifications of composites are also discussed. Mathematical models describing the time-dependent deformation behavior of biocomposite and the strain rate are also discussed in detail.
