Abstract

Abstract By looking at its wide range of applications, the aim of this study is the preparation and characterization of potassium chloride (KCl) nanoparticles by green synthesis using Curcuma longa plant. The detail characterization of KCl nanoparticles is carried out using X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, UV–Visible spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis that the result of KCl nanoparticles is observed as spiny, rock, semispherical, and spherical shape. The results of antibacterial activity show the inhibitory activity against bacteria in the case of preparing KCl by the method of plants, the results are noted that the best concentration in the inhibition area is (31 mm) in bacteria ( Staphylococcus epidermidis ) at a concentration of (100% mg mL −1 ).
