Abstract

The highest strained compound SrFe 7 Mn 5 O 19 having highly distorted crystallographic sites, with a mixed ferrimagnetic phase, showing ∼118% enhancement in the linear magnetoelectric coupling ( α / d -value) in comparison to the parent compound (SrFe 12 O 19 ).
