Abstract

In today's turbulent and hyper-connected global environment, the integration of emerging technologies has become a necessity rather than a choice. The aim of this research is to identify the trends, benefits, challenges, practical, and theoretical implications of artificial intelligence on the tourism experience, focusing the attention on the transformative potential of AI. With this perspective, the authors propose a rigorous systematic literature review following the PRISMA protocol. The results of this rigorous analysis, carried out using Nvivo software, reveal the growing role and transformative impact of artificial intelligence in enhancing the tourism experience.
