-Daily CO 2 emission reduction is estimated by a geographic model as an indicator for the activity control in China -A 1% day 1 decrease in the rate of COVID-19 cases is associated with daily CO 2 emission reduction of 0.22% 0.02% using statistical data for energy consumption or 0.20% 0.02% using satellite data for nitrogen dioxide
