Saúde mental no trabalho de segurança pública: estudos, abordagens e tendências da produção de conhecimento sobre o tema.

Abstract

Objective: to systematize Brazilian studies on mental health in the workplace of public security from 2007 to 2017. Methodology: research on national and international free access academic databases. Results: predominance of studies focused on police officers from the Brazilian military police and on gender studies and their repercussions on the female workers' health, in addition to epidemiological data related to professional stress. Conclusion: the notion of worker's valorization in this sector is still recent and shows superficial scientific production, which opens opportunities for further studies.
