Interactions mediated by atoms, photons, electrons, and excitons
R. Paredes, Georg M. Bruun, Arturo Camacho-Guardian
Abstract
The authors explore interactions between quasiparticles mediated by a surrounding environment in different experimental platforms, such as quantum degenerate atomic gases, cavity QED, and two-dimensional semiconductors. They also discuss theoretical frameworks for describing interactions between quasiparticles and approaches for calculating them.
