Abstract
This research paper deals with the modeling and controlling of the Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) based on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). The WECS functions at inconstant speed. The algorithm control is based on Direct Power Control (DPC) with an AC/DC converter system with a PI controller for the DC link voltage. In the suggested method, two hysteresis controllers are used to control and modify active and reactive power. The Simulation of proposed scheme is applied using MATLAB Simulink model. The results proved the validity of the developed model.
