Abstract
Mn<sup>4+ 2</sup>E<sub>g</sub>→<sup>4</sup>A<sub>2g</sub>transition exhibits thermally robust, ultrabroadband luminescence peaking at 651 nm in MgAl<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>under<italic>λ</italic><sub>ex</sub>= 440 nm excitation.
