Abstract
As a result of active land development in the Arctic zone, the transport and logistics complex is building up, which serves as the basis for the development of transport infrastructure: railways, waterways, and roads. By applying the experience in developing other areas of the Russian Federation and some territories abroad, it is safe to say that these changes will lead to transportation problems, which will be primarily associated with active road construction and an increase in the number of vehicles. To minimize transportation problems that may arise soon in the Arctic zone, this study identifies the main ways to solve them.
