Abstract

In this paper, modeling and simulation of a nonisolated bi-directional DC to DC power converter is proposed for the energy storage and energy transfer system both. Simple structure of the converter is similar to half bridge DC to DC power converter followed by the basic Buck-Boost operational modes. The pattern of the converter is really inevitable for the bi-directional power flow to charge or to discharge the battery of the electric vehicles (EVs) as green power charging stations. It also works in both directions for the green energy flow from vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to grid vice-versa for the decarburization of the power grids and energy conservation
