Abstract
In the past decade, with the rapid development of mobile internet and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, flexible pressure sensors have received unprecedented attention. As an essential component for pressure information collection and transmission, flexible pressure sensors have gained a wide application prospect in the fields of medical devices and health monitoring, robotics, and human-computer interaction. In recent years, flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors have attracted extensive attention because of its simple structure, easy preparation and low cost. In this work, the recent advances of flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors are reviewed from the aspects of sensing mechanism, sensing performance optimization, and sensing application. The methods and strategies to improve the sensitivity, tensile, linearity, response time, and durability of flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors are analyzed in detail. Finally, the opportunities and challenges faced by flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors are discussed. This review will promote more extensive research and development and practical applications in flexible pressure sensors.
