Abstract

The crystal structure of CaGa2O4 can be described as [GaO4] tetrahedrons connecting with each other, forming large tunnels at the center, which are filled by Ca2+. Doping with Pr3+ achieves yellow long persistent luminescence and mechanoluminescence.
