Abstract

The article reveals the impact of 5G and 6G mobile communication technologies on the prospects for the development of unmanned transport. Based on the study of the characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles, connected and unmanned vehicles, the necessity of using the latest mobile communication technologies, the role of information and communication companies in providing digital platforms and services for the development of the transport industry based on 5G and 6G technologies is substantiated. To solve the problem of ensuring the progressive and balanced development of unmanned transport, it is proposed to use the principle of matching the capabilities of mobile applications with the requirements of unmanned transport. An interconnected analysis of the technological and product capabilities of the latest generation mobile communication networks and unmanned transport allowed us to establish the requirements of unmanned transport for the technical parameters of 5G and 6G networks and justify the factors of its strategic development.
