Redox insights and OER activity in 3D-MOFs: the role of alkali metal ions

Abstract

In situ decoration of outer sphere K + ions was made in a 3D Co( ii ) MOFs, those are showing outstanding OER activity; having 27-fold higher TOF than Co 3 O 4 materials. The impact of K + ions was examined through various electrochemical studies, marking first instance of such an investigation.
