Abstract
A disodium cobalt(<sc>ii</sc>) orthosilicate material has been synthesized using improved solid-state and co-precipitation methods of synthesis. The Rietveld refinement of the XRD pattern of Na<sub>2</sub>CoSiO<sub>4</sub> demonstrated an orthorhombic crystal system.
