Abstract
The introduction of P heteroatoms into NiO constructed abundant Ni–P coordination groups as emerging catalytic sites, which improved adsorption capacity to the intermediate product LiO 2 , ensuring effective formation/decomposition of conformal Li 2 O 2 .
