Abstract

Electrocatalytic OER activity of Co 3 O 4 is enhanced by Fe near-surface decoration with a more pronounced formation of Co–FeO x (OH) y reaction zones comprising distinct redox-active Fe 3+ and Co 2+ sites as shown by comprehensive operando studies.
