Abstract
A Au@Co 3 O 4 core–shell nanocomposite was prepared for the mineralization of formaldehyde under dark conditions and visible-light irradiation. The Au@Co 3 O 4 core–shell nanocomposite has significantly promoted the photocatalytic formaldehyde oxidation.
