Abstract
This paper describes the concentration dependences of octan-1-ol, decan-1-ol, undecan-2-one and their mixtures’ solubility in hydrochloric acid solutions. TBP and MIBA mixture’s solubility has been also studied. The aliphatic alcohols and ketones’ solubility character shows the influence of the hydrocarbon radical’s length and hydrogen bonding between oxygen-containing groups. The concentration dependences are affected by the state of hydrochloric acid in water solutions and the interaction of functional groups of extractants both with each other and with solvent molecules.
