Abstract

Mathematical model building gives the possibility to recognize mathematical dependence for different parameters of actual phenomena. The model building in aviation plays a significant role, because it directly effects on safety of flights. Such procedure in aviation is implemented in the operation and maintenance system. The aim of operation system is to increase the efficiency of intended use of equipment based on the organization of decision-making support using results of statistical data processing. The data source is aviation equipment. There are two types of observed data during equipment condition monitoring: reliability parameters and diagnostic variables. This paper presents an approach of mathematical model building for diagnostic variables using segmented regression with optimization of breakpoint abscissa.
