Assessment of the Reliability of the Development of Infrastructure Projects on Transport in the Russian Federation

Abstract
The role of transport infrastructure in the development of the modern economy is an indisputable fact. For the modern Russian economy, issues related to the development of investment projects in the infrastructure sector are especially relevant. This is due to the large distances between producers of products and their consumers, and especially between foreign markets and domestic producers working for export. At the same time the long-term nature of financial investments and their volumes significantly reduce the level of attractiveness of infrastructure projects in the transport sector for private investors. The limited possibilities of budgets at all levels in terms of the development of infrastructure projects, additional problems in the domestic economy caused by political decisions at the beginning of 2022, seriously limit the possibility of development in the area we are considering. It is necessary to make serious efforts to develop the transport infrastructure and strengthen the information component of this process. The development of basic approaches to the implementation of a policy aimed at developing the transit capabilities of our country is determined by the influence of many factors, including geopolitical ones. Thus, the key importance of the transport infrastructure for the further development of the transit potential of our country determines the relevance of solving issues.
