Abstract

Now-a-days most of the accidents happening because of driving after consuming alcohol. For controlling such kind of accidents, we have developed the project, this project has used sense the consumption through sensing the gaseous material in the breath of the drivers. Based on the sensor output, Arduino will control the vehicle. This controller will be installed on the steering of the vehicle where the breath of the person driving focusing. The system sensors will sense the amount of alcohol consumed by the driver and if it crosses a particular limit then the system must send a command to stop the engine and the engine will not be turned on and thus decreasing the chance of an accident. We can reduce the number of accidents which are caused due to alcohol consumption can be reduced by our work which is alcohol detection with engine locking.
