Abstract

Under-surface Li 4 Mn 5 O 12 spinel and Li 3 PO 4 coated Li 1.13 Ni 0.30 Mn 0.57 O 2 is used for a Li-ion battery cathode. Uniform reconstruction underneath and additional coating are successfully achieved via phosphoric acid treatment and thermal treatment.
