Abstract

2D Nanomaterials Reinforced Organic Coatings In article number 2312460, Liping Wang, Wenjie Zhao, and co-workers review recent advancements in 2D nanomaterials reinforced organic composite coatings under marine corrosion resistant field. This review covers the main anti-corrosion mechanisms, including physical barrier, self-healing, as well as cathodic protection, respectively. The remaining challenges and crucial prospects for composite coatings used in marine applications are highlighted. This review aims to facilitate the fundamental insights and expedite the development and deployment of 2D nanomaterials reinforced organic coatings in marine environments.
