Constructing Dual Z-scheme WO3/Cu-g-C3N4/AgBr Composite Photocatalyst with Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance under Visible Light Irradiation

Abstract
In this work, the dual Z-scheme photocatalyst WO 3 /Cu-g-C 3 N 4 /AgBr (WCCNB) was constructed, which shows enhanced photoactivity for decomposing MO. The results of PL and electrochemical measurements suggest that the WCCNB displays low recombination and fast transfer probability of photogenerated carriers. The improved charge separation results in a significant improvement in the photocatalytic performance. Additionally, combining with trapping experiments and band potentials of Cu-g-C 3 N 4 , WO 3 and AgBr, the dual Z-scheme electron migration was proposed for the WCCNB composite.
