Abstract

Assembly via 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate linker and Zn 2+ ions afforded a new MOF containing novel [Zn 4 F 4 ] cubane cores, showing excellent C 2 H 2 separation from C 2 H 2 –CO 2 and C 2 H 2 –CH 4 mixtures.
