Abstract
A heterostructural composite, by doping Mo cations into the Ni 0.85 Se lattice (Mo x -Ni 0.85 Se) and epitaxially growing atomic MoSe 2 nanosheets at the edge of Mo x -Ni 0.85 Se, is successfully prepared to serve as an efficient electrocatalyst for simulated seawater hydrogen evolution.
