Abstract
The LEAP (Liquefaction Experiment and Analysis Project) is a continuing international collaboration to produce a reliable databank of high-quality experimental results for the validation of numerical tools. LEAP-2020, investigates the problem of a floating rigid sheet-pile quay wall embedded in dense sand layer. This paper discusses two experiments conducted at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and investigates: (1) the repeatability potential of centrifuge testing in the presence of Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI), and (2) the effects of soil-structure Interaction on the system response during liquefaction.
