A New Find for the Flora of Azerbaijan - Dracocephalum thymiflorum L.

Abstract

The article discusses the bioecological and phytocoenological features of the species Dracocephalum thymiflorum L. (Lamiaceae Lindl.), identified in the course of research conducted on the Zangezur National Park territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic: in the vicinity of the village of Kulus Shahbuz district and the village Paraga, as well as in the Azhnovur valley (at the foot of the Soyugdag mountain) of the Ordubad district. Given that this species is rare, it is important in the future to include it in the new edition of the Red Book of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
