Abstract

1. There has been a hot debate on who could and should give exercise prescriptions. 2. While physicians, exercise and health scientists, and fitness trainers each have their role in prescribing exercise, an integrated and interdisciplinary team approach is recommended. 3. ChatGPT showed great potential to become a smart, interdisciplinary, yet independent, assistant to provide accurate and individualized exercise prescriptions for both general and professional use in the very near future.
