Abstract

Chalcogenide-based cross-point memories have demonstrated the ability to deliver high performance, cost effective and highly reliable memory technology solutions. These solutions delivered fully qualified products and reached the volume production phase with the 3DXPoint™. Further scaling opportunities have been demonstrated with a Single-chalcogenide Xpoint Memory (SXM) concept that delivers superior performances, a significant cell structure simplification, and a huge scaling potential.
