Nine Switch Dual Input 9- Level Inverter (NSDI9LI) with Inherent AC Voltage Generation Ability

Abstract
This article describes a nine-switch dual input 9- level inverter (NSDI9LI) with minimum component and dc source. This topology utilizes 1:3 ratio of dc link to produce nine level output with utilization of nine switching devices and two input sources. The proposed topology can produce higher number of voltage level with lower switches and input supply compare to symmetrical configurations. This topology produces ac voltage without necessitate any additional polarity generation units. To generate a desired nine level output sinusoidal PWM (SPWM) technique is used. To assess the implications of the recommended inverter configuration is tested under various loading condition and simulation results are presented.
