Abstract

All-solid-state Z-scheme CdS/Co<sub>9</sub>S<sub>8</sub>-RGO heterostructures are synthesized by a facile one-pot hydrothermal method followed by annealing, which exhibit a H<sub>2</sub> evolution rate up to 4.82 mmol h<sup>−1</sup> g<sup>−1</sup> and a remarkable stability due to an efficient charge transfer and separation.
