Abstract

We report high proton conductivity (10 mS cm −1 at 235 °C) of stable BaSc 0.8 W 0.2 O 2.8 , which is attributed to (1) high proton concentration due to full hydration and large amount of oxygen vacancies and (2) high proton mobility due to reduced proton trapping.
