Abstract

A turn-off fluorescencesensor TBCM was developed to identify the presence of Cu 2+ and Co 2+ ions. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations validated the experimental findings. Also, bioimaging studies were carried using zebrafish as model for Co 2+ ions.
