Melt-preparation of organic–inorganic Mn-based halide transparent ceramic scintillators for high-resolution X-ray imaging

Abstract
A large size TBP 2 MnBr 4 transparent ceramic is prepared by the melt processing method, which shows a high transmittance of >80% in the wavelength range of 350 nm to 800 nm, for realizing a high-resolution (16 lp mm −1 ) X-ray imaging.
