Abstract

Aging individuals are typically frailer, more unsteady, and have slower reactions, making them more likely to fall and be injured than younger individuals. This can be due to unconsciousness or lack of control while asleep, disorders associated with some sickness. The device is made up sensors combine with other components such components are, transistors, resistors, capacitors, relay, buzzer, integrated circuits for sensing fall and communicate information to immediate care givers. Various processing mechanisms to help the hospital care givers to connect easily with the happenings in their surrounding were incorporated in this device to provide a means of response to especially aged patients. Upon receival of the signals, the receiver generates the expected outputs inform of light or sound which can be received also as message and interpreted as such.
