Abstract

Cu<sup>I</sup>–Y zeolite catalysts, which are robust and recyclable, assisted by TEMPO catalyses quantitatively the aerobic oxidation of a wide range of benzylic alcohols into aldehydes in ethanol under mild conditions without additional additives.
