The Effect of Social Media on Improving the Recruitment Process: Regional Commercial Banks' Employee Engagement as a Mediator

Abstract
By using employee participation as a moderating variable in Jordanian businesses, the current study sought to study the effects of social media and its various dimensions on improving the recruitment process along its sub-elements. The descriptive analytical method was used, with the sample including 12 Jordanian commercial banks; a subsequent comprehensive sample survey method was used, covering a total of 410 workers. For statistical analysis and testing of the hypotheses of the study, the research used SPSS software. The results of the research showed that there is a positive impact of employee participation through social media on improving the recruitment process in Jordanian commercial banks. Accordingly, the study helps more social networks to adapt and access local and global labor markets and to distribute relevant skills and competencies.
