Abstract
Carbon-coated V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> hollow spheres are synthesized by a solvothermal route, with promising cycling stability and rate performance for PIBs. The homogeneous carbon coating improves the electronic conductivity and the hollow structure buffers the volume change during cycling.
