Abstract

Synergistic modulations of vanadium doping, interlayer expansion and hybrid 1T&amp;2H phases of few-layered MoS<sub>2</sub> nanosheets are realized to gain structural and electronic benefits for enhanced hydrogen evolution reaction performance.
