Abstract

The proportion of the area occupied by cities is increasing with the accelerated evolution of urbanization. The inevitable traffic and travel problems in the city are put on the table. In order to cater to the process of urbanization, the urban transportation network is becoming larger and larger. Although it has kept up with the pace of urban development to a certain extent, the overly complicated urban transportation network makes it difficult for urban residents to make travel choices. In this paper, we proposed a novel recommendation algorithm for urban residents to choose an effective and comfortable travel means in the huge and complex traffic from the information about traffic data. This algorithm would recommend people to choose the most suitable means, according where they are, when the time is and what they need.
