Investigation of VLLC-OCDM System for Intelligent Transport Applications

Abstract

A bidirectional symmetric 3×20Gbps visible laser light communication (VLLC) with optical code division multiplexing (OCDM) with large number of users is proposed. The simulation results indicate that model employing modified quadratic congruence (MQC) code offers 9km VLLC link transmission to different vehicles. Also, model throughput can be extended upto 70Gbps over 5km range. The model can also supports maximum 160 active vehicles with MQC code. The model comparison shows its optimum performance over other existing work for various transport applications.
