Abstract

Syntheses, structure determinations, and linear/nonlinear optical properties of novel noncentrosymmetric chiral sulfate materials, LiRE(SO 4 ) 2 (RE = Y, Gd, and Eu), exhibiting very short UV-cutoff edges are presented.
