Abstract
Abstract With recent advances in circularly polarized luminescent materials, a variety of molecular designs have been developed to achieve efficient energy conversion. This review highlights recent approaches to circularly polarized luminescent materials based on phosphorescent square-planar platinum(II) complexes with chiral or achiral organic ligands. Besides, the recent applications of such materials in circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes are also summarized. We expect that this review will contribute to gain more interest in the field of chiral phosphorescent emitters and promote their future applications.
