Abstract

A review on the physiological functions of the macro and microminerals required by rabbits was presented as well the their effect on the health and performance of the animals. This chapter also discussed the role of both fat soluble and water soluble vitamins in the digestion and health of rabbits plus some of the feed additives available with specific target pathogen control such as anticoccidial drugs, probiotics, prebiotics, antibiotics, and growth promoters.
